Research areas:

The role of plants in human prehistory. Plants in subsistance strategy of prehistoric settlements and societes - cultivated and gathered plants. Ecological aspects of agriculture introduction to new environments, synanthropes and stable N and C isotopes. My research is based on subfossil plant macroremains derived from archaeological sites (mostly fruits and seeds, charred, waterlogged, mineralised and imprints).
